During the Thanksgiving to Christmas “mega-holiday,” materialism and consumerism is on full display in our nation as Black Friday, Green Monday, Cyber Monday, etc. consumes retailers and media advertising… and us consumers. But there are also some very good deals for those of us working in ministry or teaching and publishing God’s Word.

If you love to listen to audio books, or are simply wanting something wholesome to listen to on that next long trip to the relatives’ house for the holidays, now is a good time to peruse the great deals at christianaudio.com. Almost their entire selection of audio books are on sale for $7.49 each. Most of the titles are normally twice as much or more on their site or on audible.com. To purchase you need to sign up for a free membership first (no cost associated with it).

Not only are there some of the best in recent Christian books by authors like John Piper, R. C. Sproul, Max Lucado, and N. T. Wright, there are some of the older “classics” by C. S. Lewis, G. K. Chesterton and others. In addition there are many fiction books and series such as those by J. R. R. Tolkien and more. Lastly, there are the audio Bibles – many of them currently at only $7.49 for the complete Bible in NIV, TNIV, ESV, NKJV, KJV, and more!

Here are titles I just picked up this week to add to my audio library:

  • Evidence That Demands a Verdict, by Josh McDowell & Sean McDowell
  • TNIV Bible Experience Audio Bible
  • The Holiness of God, by R. C. Sproul
  • The New Testament in Its World, by N. T. Wright & Michael F. Bird (2 volumes)

I do not see an end date on the sale, but December 25 might be a good guess.
